Sindy was born on May 6, 1957 in Newport, VT the daughter of Ernest & Virgina Royer (Limlaw) who both predeceased her.

Sindy started her life on the family farm in Coventry, VT where she grew up and spent many wonderful memorable years that she spoke so much of including her memorable highlight of her “pet fawn”. From the family farm there came the family business “Royer’s Service Station” in Irasburg, VT. Where Sindy finished her teenage years in-which continued well into her adult life. Sindy graduated from Lake Region Union High School in 1975- thereafter meet the love of her life Paul J. Souliere of Orleans, VT. They married August 6, 1977. Sindy and Paul not only worked together at Orleans Commission Sales doing Tuesday night Auctions till 3:00 a.m. with Paul’s family’s but also worked 6 days a week for Sindy’s parents at Royer’s Service for a better of 30+ years. In 1999 Sindy & Paul ventured out on their own and created their own family business “Souliere & Son Automotive” where Sindy worked as a Secretary a Co-Owner, CEO and most importantly “The Boss” she was one organized bookkeeper, managed to keep her customers happy, had an open heart and ear for any and all who walked through the door and lastly but not least she thoroughly enjoyed keeping her husband Paul in line. Sindy touched the hearts of many over the years, but nothing made her happier than to share that life working side by side for almost 50 years with her husband Paul, where they retired June 11, 2021. Sindy had many joys in life, created many lasting memories with her entire family that she Loved so much, and many friends. She enjoyed her time spent with her parents, boat rides, fishing, camping, shopping, dancing to old rock n’roll, singing, fond memories of hunting camp carrying a gun hunting with no intent to shoot, looking at Christmas lights, putting on family Christmas and scenic drives with her husband seeing different parts of Vermont and going out to dinner. But mostly looked forward to and very much enjoyed summer family cookouts at home. She lived for her family and her biggest pride and joy was her husband, her children and most of all being a Nana to her amazing grandchildren who forever life up her eyes and heart. Sindy is survived by her husband Paul J. Souliere of Coventry, VT where she resided. Her two children (daughter) Melissa A. Souliere (Stone) and Partner Adam Gonyaw of Irasburg VT, (son)Joshua P. Souliere and fiancée Aimee Martin of Morgan VT. Her pride and joy her grandchildren Bruce A. Stone, III & fiancée Breanne, Nicholas J. Stone & partner Andrea, Erika M. Souliere, Evan D. Souliere and to be great-grandson Riley Joseph that she was so eager to meet due May 6, 2022. She is also survived by her brother Larry Royer, Sr. & Partner Lori Royea, sister in-laws Carmel Souliere & partner Surge Pothier, Laurie Souliere, Judy Desroches, brother in-laws Roland Souliere, and Terry Souliere. Along with several niece’s & nephew's and greats, Cousins, Aunts & Uncles. Sindy was predeceased by her Parents Ernest P. Royer & Virgina T. Royer, her Brother Ernest D. Royer, Sister-in-law Martha A. Royer, Mother-in-law Joan T. Souliere, Brother-in-law Delphis Souliere, Father-in-law Joseph Souliere and Great-Nephew Tyler C. Poginy.

Services will be held on January 8, 2022 at Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport, VT 05855. Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral services to follow immediately after. Burial services will be held in the spring at the family’s convenience.

ObituaryJul 15, 2009  OBITUARY: RICHFORD - James M. "Bud" Todd Jr., 85, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2009, in the Wingate at Dutchess Nursing Home in Fishkill, N.Y. James "Bud" was born December 29, 1923, in Richford, the son of the late James M. & Edith (Slayton) Todd. Bud was a graduate of Richford High School. Following his graduation, he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during World War II. After his honorable discharge, he made his home in Carmel, N.Y., where he was employed as a custodian for the Carmel New York School District for 23 years, retiring in 1986, at which time he moved back to Richford, where he was a member of the Richford 1st Baptist Church, serving as a trustee for several years, American Legion Post # 12, and the Richford Lions Club. He was also a Melvin Jones recipient. Bud remained an avid New York Yankee and New York Ranger fan. You could always catch him in front of the TV watching one of their games, day or night, even if it was a replay. He is survived by his children, Mel Todd and his wife Susan of Frankenmuth, Mich.,and Debby Thompson and her husband Eric of Newburgh, N.Y; four grandchildren, Jason Todd with his partner Sheehan Freeman, Brandi Wickliffe with her husband James, Joshua Thompson with his wife Jennifer and Gretchen Todd; three great- grandchildren, Ryan and Julia Wickliffe and Hudson Thompson. Besides his parents, Bud was predeceased by his wife, Iris (Fletcher) Todd, on July 24, 1990. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Richford 1st Baptist Church with Pastor Lyle Willey officiating. Interment will follow in the Richford Center Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford. For those who wish, contributions in Bud's memory may be made to the Richford 1st Baptist Church, 33 School St., Richford, VT 05476 or to the Richford Center Cemetery Association, P.O.
