ObituaryMay 15, 1967  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS - William E. Garrow, 88, died Sunday morning at a St. Albans hospital following a brief illness.

He was born in Enosburg Falls, May 4, 1881, the son of the late Augustus J. and Margaret (Laffley) Garrow.

He was a retired stone and brick mason and a lifelong resident of Enosburg Falls.

He was a member of the Enosburg Falls Band.

He leaves three sons, Alan E. of Fair Haven, Mass., Lynwood A. of Chico, Calif; and James E. of Enosburg Falls; three daughters, Miss Margaret M. Garrow of Enosburg Falls, Mrs. Fred (Doris) Itzstein of Bryn Mawr, Pa., Mrs. John (Betty) Pomeroy of Alburg; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The body will remain at the spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, where friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Gavin Maloney will recite the rosary at the funeral home Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Father Maloney celebrating a requiem high Mass. Interment will follow in the family lot at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Spears Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
