He was a lifelong resident of Enosburg, a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post No. 42. He was a member of VFW Post 758 and the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1090 of St. Albans and the Missisquoi Valley Sportsman Club in East Berkshire.

Mr. Billado was born in Enosburg, March 29, 1925, the son of Avris (Clark) Billado and the late Herman C. Billado.

Besides his mother of Enosburg, he is survived by his wife, Beverly (Basford) Billado; a son, Michael Billado of Enosburg; and four daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Frances) Beauleau of St. Albans, Mrs. Michael (Debra) Gross of Enosburg, Miss Evelyn and Lori Billado of Enosburg; two brothers, Orroson of Barton and Carroll of Enosburg Falls; three grandchildren; three step-daughters, Misses Tina, Marcia and Evelyn Bickford; one step-son, Gary Bickford, all of Glover.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Enosburg United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Missisquoi Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The American Legion Post No. 42 of Enosburg Falls will conduct Military commital services at the grave. American Legion members are requested to meet at the legion hall Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
