ObituaryMar 18, 1987  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS, VT – Mrs. Avris D. Billado, 80, widow of Herman C. Billado, died Monday afternoon, March 16, 1987, at her granddaughter’s residence in East Enosburg.

She was born in Grafton. VT, March 29, 1906, the daughter of Albert and Velma (Wright) Clark. Mrs. Billado had been a resident of Enosburg most of her life and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 42 of Enosburg.

She is survived by two sons, Orrson and Carroll Billado, both of Barton; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. A son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Evelyn, predeceased her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, March 19, 1987, at 11:30 at the Spears Funeral Home on Dickinson Avenue in Enosburg Falls, with the Rev. Philip O’Hara officiating. Burial will be later this spring in Missisquoi Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg, Wednesday, March 18, 1987 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For those who wish, contributions may be made in her memory to the Enosburg Ambulance Service, in care of Richard Brodeur, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
