He is also survived by his brother Marcel Geoffrey and his wife Darlene and sisters: Florence Coogan of NY, Jeannine Besaw and Claire Lavoie and her husband George , and by Tammy, mother of Britney and Lindsay.

He was predeceased by his son Scott Geoffrey, his brothers Raymond and Andre Geoffrey, and his brother-in-law Gene Besaw.

She was born in Berkshire on November 5, 1933 to the late Donald and Annie (Jenney) Hammond.

Carol grew up in North Berkshire on her family’s farm and graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1951. She worked at Carney’s Restaurant in Enosburg where she met the love of her life Norris Tillotson, and the two were married on July 7, 1956.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Norris Tillotson of Richford; son, Dale Tillotson and his wife Lisa of Burlington; her four-footed “children”, Abby & McGee; siblings-in-law, Leora Bourne, Dolores “Dot” Ashton, Carol Kilpeck, Waneta Ring, Queta Thomas, Marsha Tillotson, Sheri Abair, and Eleanor Hammond; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her siblings, Leonard, Keith, Walter, Jean, and Patricia “Patty”; and siblings-in-law, Thelma, Cheryl, Cecil, and Robert “Tommy”.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Albans Health & Rehab (Genesis) and Bayada Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness. Also thanks to Eric & Kim Collins and Stuart & Audrey Patterson and so many others for all their help and support.

Mr. Broe was born in Richford August 28, 1899, the son of the laste Herbert and Alice (Morsette) Broe.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 12 in Richford and a charter of the Littleton, N.H., Lodge of Elks.

He had made his home in Wallingford for the past 10 years and was a retired employee of the4 First National Stores.

He leaves his wife Evelyn (Levis) Broe; two sons, Hobart H. Broe of Cheshire, Conn., and Lawrence W. Broe of Wallingford; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Noyes of Wallingford; three brothers, Char;es Broe of Richford, Wellington Broe of South Royalton and Reginald Broe of Fairfax; two sisters Mrs. Priscilla Ward of St. Albans and Mrs. Graydon (Josie) Lagro of Richford; nine grandchildren; six great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford, with the Rev. Edward Brinkman officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot at Hillsdie Cemetery in Richford. Spears Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ObituaryJan 29, 1982  OBITUARY: MONTGOMERY - William M. Levis, 84, died Thursday morning at the Burlington hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Levis was born in Montgomery March 8, 1897, the son of James and Elizabeth (Reed) Levis. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery and owned and operated a farm there for many years, retiring in 1964. He was a 25-year member of the Montgomery Grange 548.

He is survived by his wife, Florence (Touchette) Levis; one son, Robert Levis of Morrisville; two daughters, Mrs. Ami (Evelyn) Brouillette of Montgomery and Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Prout of Amherst, Mass; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Brow of St. Albans; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Fiends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, Saturday afternoon from 1 until 2 and then funeral services will be held at 2 at the funeral home with Rev. Herman Waits officiating. Burial will be next spring in the Montgomery Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributations in his memory to the Enosburg Home Health Agency, in care of Mrs. Edith Bauer, Enosburg Falls, Vt. 05450.2

He was born in Fairfax, Feb 28, 1890, the son of James and Ekizabeth (Reed) Levis. He was a resident of Montgomery most of his life and retired from farming in 1968.

Mr. Levis was a member of Missisquoi Lodge 9, F&AM, of Richford.

He leaves three sons, Ralph W., Carmi Jr. and Clinton W. of Montgomery Center; four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Hallie) Grant of Fairfield and Misses Helen M., Ida M. and Beverly M. Levis of Montgomery Center, a brother, William Levis of Montgomery; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Broe of Richford; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the funeral home with the Rev. James Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Montgomery Center Cemetery. Spears Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
