She was born in East Fairfield, March 19, 1931, the daughter of Florence (Marshia) Nolan and the late Francis Nolan.

She was a resident of Sheldon most of her life and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was employed at Century International Arms in Georgia since 1987, where she was known to her co-workers as “Granny.” She enjoyed BINGO, gambling, shopping, lawn sales and eating out.

She was affectionately known as “Nanny to her family, and she is survived by her mother, Florence Nolan of Enosburg Falls; one son, Gary Chadwick and his wife Patsy; two daughters and their husbands, Marsha and Larry Demar; and Brenda and Craig Elliott, all of Sheldon; one brother and his wife, Arnold and Diane Lagrow of Franklin; one sister, Frances Green of Enosburg Falls; a special sister-in-law, Amelia Nolan of Sheldon; four grandchildren and their spouses, Josie and Patrick Gregoire of Enosburg Falls, Jeremy and Erica Demar of Virginia Beach, VA, JoAnn and Moe Mulheron of St. Albans, and Jenny and Jamie Hemond of Lebanon, NH; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Demar, Kody Gregoire, and Christopher Mulheron; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Chadwick, and a brother, Leo Nolan.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, with Reverend Bernard Bechard officiating. Interment will be held later next spring in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Sheldon.

Relatives and friends may call on the family at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.

ObituaryNov 28, 2012  OBITUARY: PITTSFORD - John D. Mclaren Jr., 63, formerly of Pittsford died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in Jupiter, FL, where he has resided for the last several years, with his children at his side.

He was born on January 15, 1949, in Colchester,VT, the son John Sr. and Barbara (Garrow) Mclaren.

John was employed for over 30 years at GE in Rutland, and was well-known for his abilities as an auto mechanic.

He enjoyed playing golf and snowmobiling, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Moose and Eagles Club.

He is survived by a son Eric Mclaren of Florence; two daughters, Joanne Mclaren of Brandon, and Becky Litchfield of Fort Edward, N.Y; three grandchildren, Zachary Mclaren, Hailey Litchfield, and Riley Paris; 10 siblings, Patricia Jones of Rutland, James Mclaren of West Rutland, Harland Mclaren of Jupiter, FL, Joyce Humphrey of Shrewsbury, Terry and Jerry Mclaren, both of Rutland, Jay Mclaren, Mary Bell, and Pauline Morris, all of Rutland, and Paul Mclaren of West Rutland.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister Judy Hawkins.

Family and friends may call at the Barnard Funeral Home in Pittsford on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 12 noon until 1 p.m., with a memorial service to be held at 1 p.m.

A reception for family and friends will follow at St. Alphonsus Church Hall in Pittsford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's memory may be made to the Foley Cancer Center, R.R.M.C., 160 Allen Street, Rutland, VT 05763.
