Born on June 11, 1943, in Berkshire, Vt., she was the daughter of Alfred and Florence (Garrow) Cameron. She grew up in St. Albans and graduated from Bellows Free Academy in 1962. She was married to Ardon Justin Puffett on Oct. 6, 1962, in St. Albans. The couple lived in Iowa City and Council Bluffs and moved to Carroll in 1967.

Marian worked in radiology at St. Anthony's Regional Hospital and several restaurants in Carroll, including many years at the Carroll Elk's Lodge.

She was an avid bowler in her younger years and she loved to follow the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Surviving are two sons: Tony Puffett and his wife, Noelle, of Cheorkee, and Jeff Puffett and his wife, Jen, of Carroll; her mother, Florence Cameron of St. Albans; four grandchildren: Suzanne Young and her husband, Mike, of Sioux City, James Puffett of Ames, Keaton Puffett, and Kylie Puffett, both of Carroll; two great-grandchildren: Madison and Peyton Young; a brother, Rod Cameron and his wife, Moncia, of St. Albans; five sisters: Carol DuPont and her husband, Alain, of St.

Albans, Bea Coon and her husband, Greg, of Swanton, Sandy Messier and her husband, Gary, of Stockbridge, Ga., Sherry Juaire and her husband, David, of East Fairfield, and Merry Souza and her husband, Richard, of Highgate; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband in 2006; and a brother, Alfred Jr., in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Father Timothy Johnson of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll officiating. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, where the family will greet friends. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery.

He was born March 27, 1891 in Huntington, the son of William L. and Anna (Ashline) Eddy.

He attended school in Huntington. He married Lois Hutchinson of Braintree on Nov 8, 1916.

Mr. Eddy was a farmer in Braintree until 1923, when he moved to Dairy Hill in South Royalton and became farm manager for the Morman Church farm. In 1948 he began his 10 year employment with Eaton, Eaton & Co. sawmill. He worked for the town of Rayalton from 1958 until his retirement in 1962.

Mrs. Eddy died Jan 14, 1966. Mr. Eddy lived with his son, Stephen and family for the last year. He is survived by five sons, Stephen of Royalton; Russell of Peterborough, NH; Douglas of Pittsfield, MA; David of Bethel and Wallace of South Royalton; six daughters, Mrs. Rachel Blair of East Longmeadow, MA; Mrs. Wilson (Alta) Walker of Nicholls, GA; Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Young of So. royalton; Mrs. Clinton (Norma) Burbank of Chelsea; Mrs. Everett (Laura) Young of Tunbridge and Mrs. Gordon (Kathleen) Van Orman of tyringham, MA. A son, William A. Eddy, died in 1966. there are 40 surviving grandchildren; one great granddaughter and five sisters; Mrs. Ernest Hodgdon of burlington; Mrs. Ralph Noble of Montpelier; Mrs. Lucius Lemery of Waterbury; Mrs. Keith Bissel of Napa, CA; Mrs. Donald Anthony of Fort Anne, NY; one brother, William M. Eddy of Carmel, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the East Braintree Cemetery.
