He leaves his wife, Maria (Gagne) Laroche; eight daughters, Mrs. Homer Lamabert of Highgate, Mrs. John Paquette of Bakersfield, Mrs. James Plant of Tonawanda, NY, Mrs. Gerard Paquette and Mrs. Maurice Paquette, both of Richford, Mrs. John Cook of St. Albans, Mrs. Armand Moreau of Rexfield, Conn., and Mrs. Roland Belanger of Washington Deport, Conn; five sons, Leonard of Bakersfield, Laurent and Jean Marie, both of Highgate, Clement of St. Albans Bay, and the Rev. Leonidas Laroche, pastor of St. Stephen’s Church, Winooski; five brothers, Homer, Narcisse and Lionel, all of Highgate, Gedion of Sanford, ME, and Wilfred of Newport, NH; three sisters, Mrs. Emile Pinnsonault, Mrs. Antoine Gagne and Mrs. Peter Gagne, all of Springfield, MA; 24 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The body will remain at the R. H. Gadue Fuenral Home, 34 Canada St., Swanton, where friends may call tonight from 7 to 10, and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Church, Highgate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. R. H. Gadue Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
