Florence was born in Salem, MA on May 25, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Lillian and George Hill.

She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Lowell.

Florence was a life long employee of Dracut's Laura's Donuts. She enjoyed spending time with her customers who became life long friends.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Steere and Ralph of Hampstead, NH and her son Michael Borodowka and his wife Darlene of Dracut; her brother George Schneider of FL, and her sister Beatrice Breck of FL; her grandchildren, Jennifer Patch and her husband Richard of Dracut, Sheryl Steere of Andover, Michael Borodowka of Dracut, and John Borodowka of Dracut. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sofia Garcia, Wayne Laplante, Elizabeth Borodowka, Brooke Borodowka, and Charlotte Borodowka as well as many nieces and nephews.

Florence was predeceased by her siblings Harry Schneider and his wife Ann, Frank Schneider, Bob Schneider, and Virginia Smigelski and her husband Albert. She is also predeceased by her sister-in-law Virginia Schneider.
