Born in Pomfret, VT, son of the late Wilfred and Florence (Maxham) Barrett, he was raised in VT and graduated from Woodstock High School. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from New Haven University and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War where he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross among other decorations. Warren was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft, Times Fiber Communication, and retired from Amphenol Corp, Wallingford. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed sailing, and was interested in genealogy. He leaves a son Thomas Barrett and his wife Sue of Milford; a daughter Nancy Moses and her husband Tim of Farmington; a sister Elizabeth Morgan of White River Junction, VT; seven grandchildren Penelope Moses, Christopher Rish, Thomas, James, Mason, Matthew, and Maddox Barrett; and one great grandchild Parker Rish. Besides his wife Dolores, he was predeceased by two brothers Harold and Gerald Barrett. His family will receive friends Friday, February 28, 2014 from 2-4 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon a service will follow at 4 pm at Carmon's. Betty was born on Aug. 1, 1924 in Woodstock, daughter of Wilfred and Florence (Maxham) Barrett. Betty graduated from Woodstock High School in 1942.

She married Arthur John Morgan on Aug. 4, 1944.

She worked for the Red and White Super Market and A and B Motors in Woodstock and for the South Woodstock Post Office.

Betty spent most of her life living in South Woodstock and raising her family.

Betty is survived by three sons; John C. Morgan of South Woodstock, Lyle A. Morgan of Topsham, and Richard A. Morgan of South Woodstock; one daughter Judith L. Hurd of North Springfield; four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; and three brothers; Gerald, Harold, and Warren Barrett.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the South Woodstock Fire Department or to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock.

He was a truck driver for Matusko Trucking Co. of North Amherst for many years, and retired in 1980. Born and schooled in Athol, he lived in Turners Falls resident for 20 years. He was a World War II Army veteran, and served in the North African and European theaters. He was a lifetime member of Coutu-Murphy Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 923 of Turners Falls. His wife, the former Mary Pratt, died in 1981, and a son, Alan Labor, in 1994. He leaves five other sons, Roger A., David, and Richard of Salemburgh, N.C., and Roger A. Jr. and Eugene of Athol; two daughters, Sherry Fann of Salemburgh, and Patricia Eisenbach of Long Island, N.Y; three stepsons, Robert Baker of Amherst, Brinton A. Baker Jr. of Greenfield, and Donald E. Baker of Gill; five stepdaughters, Nancy Jackson of Montague City, Elaine Brosway of Bernardston, Linda Coy of Greenfield, Carol Maynard of Pelham, and Marie Sabassco of Hadley; a sister, Virginia Thomasello of Barre; 33 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sept. 10. 2004 from the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 South Barre Rd., Barre, with a Mass at 11:00 am in St. Thomas - A - Becket Church, Vernon Ave., S. Barre. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Barre. Calling hours will be held on Fri. Sept. 10, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the funeral home. Stevens and her husband Michael P. of Hubbardston; and 9 grandchildren: Rebecca, Michael Eric, Kaitlyn, Jason, Taunya, Benjamin, Daniel, Meghan, Brianna; and 6 great grandchildren: Jayden Dominic, Sophia, Sarah, Aaron, Keirnan and Suphattra. Born in Salice, Sicily, son of Nunzio and Stefana Tomasello.

Dominic attended schools in Barre, MA. He was a proud Navy veteran of WWll. He was a lifetime member and one of the founding members of the American Legion Post 404 in South Barre. He helped to establish the Barre Little League in 1953. Dom was the owner of the Barre Bowling Center for nearly 3 decades.

His favorite past-times were playing cards with his family, reading, crossword puzzles, bus trips with the Golden Agers, serving as the Commander of Post 404, and he was an avid sports fan. He especially loved his yearly trips to Cape Ann in Gloucester, MA on Memorial Day weekends with his beloved wife and family.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 6 with a Mass at 10:30 a.m in St. Thomas-A-Becket Church, Vernon Ave., South Barre. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Barre. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 3-5 p.m in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 South Barre Rd., Barre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 404, P.O. Box 302, South Barre, MA 01074.
