Survivors include a son, James E. Randall of Williamstown, five grand-children and five great-grandchildren.

A son, Herbert S. Randall, predeceased her.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.

The Eternal Flame Crematorium of Brattleboro was in charge of the cremation.

Mr. Osborne was born Feb. 13, 1912, in Portland. He moved to Oakland, Calif., as a child. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces and then was a civil service liaison for the U.S. Air Force in Alaska and later for Boeing in Seattle before his retirement in 1967. He moved to Cannon Beach in the late 1960s. In about 1937, he married Louise Sortland; she died in 1989.

Survivors include his daughter, Judith A. of Cannon Beach; son, D. Donald of Wheeler; sister, Gertrude Ruland of Greenville, N.Y; brothers, Tom of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Warren of Greenfield, Mo; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the Cannon Beach Historical Society, the Cannon Beach Library or the Oregon Natural Resources Council. Arrangements are by Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Seaside.

ObituaryJun 11, 2014  OBITUARY: WEST COXSACKIE – Gertrude E. "Trudy" Ruland, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Kaaterskill Care Center in Catskill. Born in Oakland, CA on August 3, 1921, she was daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Brailler Osborne, and wife of the late Ralph E. Ruland, her husband of 60 years, who predeceased her on February 18, 2006. Trudy was raised in Oakland, and the family summered in Tolovana Park, Oregon. She came to Greene County upon her marriage and resided in East Durham for most of those years, and the last 10 in Bethany Village, West Coxsackie. Trudy was a devout Episcopalian and communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Greenville.

Survivors include her children, Ralph "Rick" Ruland (Candace), and Lynn Tanner (Joseph); one brother, Thomas F. Osborne; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, Trudy has been cremated and the family will bury her ashes privately. Memorial donations to Christ Episcopal Church will be appreciated. Arrangements by A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville. Write a condolence message at ajcunninghamfh.com.
