She was born 11 May 1901 in Lakeport, NH, the daughter of Frank E. and Ethel (Bagley) Huntoon and lived in Belmont, NY for 56 years. Her husband, Carl S. Sanborn, died in 1967. The couple operated a dairy farm in Belmont. During World War II she worked as a machinist at Scott & Williams in Laconia. She retired in 1972, after serving 18 yeaars as librarian in Belmont. A talented artist, she was a member of the Laconia Art Association and the Laconia Historical Society. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn S. Pearl; two sons, Robert L. Sanborn and Milton L. Sanborn.
