ObituaryJul 20, 1974  OBITUARY: RICHFORD – Mrs. Eleanor L. Billado, 47, wife of Carroll S. Billado Sr., died Friday morning, July 19, 1974. At a Burlington hospital following a brief illness.

She was a resident of Richford for the past 15 years and a former resident of Enosburg Falls. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 42, Enosburg Falls, and the United Methodist Church of Richford.

She was born in Barre Dec. 26, 1926, daughter of Cortis and Almeda (Gifford) Lackey.

Besides her husband, she, leaves four sons, Carroll S. Jr., Douglas W. and Daniel E., all of Richford and Richard of Sheldon; five daughters, Mrs. Rene (Barbara) Beauregard, Miss Kathleen Billado and Miss Lisa Billado of Richford, Mrs. Harold (Avris) Willey Jr. of Eden Mills and Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Conger of Highgate; 15 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Madeline) Burns of Enosburg Falls, Mrs. Clifford (Evelyn) Bolio of North Hyde Park, Mrs. Jack (Frances) Tatro of Swanton and Mrs. Herbert (Marion) Bell of Highgate; several nieces and nephews. A son, Timothy, died in December, 1972.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 at the United Methodist Church, Enosburg Falls, with the Rev. Clair F. Yohe officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Missisquoi Cemetery, Enosburg Falls. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, Saturday afternoon, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
