She was a retired Hairdresser.

Beatrice was a member of the Faith Renewal Fellowship of East Wakefield, NH and served as Church Secretary. She enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Widow of the late Frederick B. Dezan, she is survived by their 2 sons: Douglas F. Dezan, Sr. and Frederick H. Dezan, both of Sanbornville, 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, a sister Myra Sweatt of Columbia, NH, also many Nieces and Nephews.

As per her wishes, there will be no services. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Faith Renewal Fellowship, East Wakefield, NH 03830 or the American Cancer Society . Arrangements are in the care of Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road, Sanbornville (Wakefield), NH.

ObituaryJul 10, 2016  OBITUARY: WILLIAMSTOWN — Henry George Dufresne Sr., 88, of Main Street, died in the presence of his loving family in the Palliative Care Unit at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin on July 7, 2016.

Born Jan. 20, 1928, in Barre City, he was the son of Henry R. and Evelyn (Putvain) Dufresne. He attended Barre City Schools and Spaulding High School.

He had been married to Nancy Henry and they later divorced.

A veteran of World War II, he served as a Helmsman aboard U.S. Navy ships.

Henry had been employed as an Expediter at the Rock of Ages capacitor plant, which later became the Sprague Electric Company, from 1949 to 1972, retiring because of ill health.

Henry was known as the "Mayor" of Williamstown and the children remember him as the "Candyman." He enjoyed card and organ playing, The New York Yankees baseball team, dining at the Wayside Restaurant and entertaining his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His memberships included St. Edwars Catholic Church in Williamstown, the Williamstown Jay Cees, the Community Babe Ruth Baseball League and was a former member of the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his daughters; Karla Dufresne Perkins and her husband, John, and Lida Dufresne Floyd all of Williamstown, Tamara Dufresne Lokatys and her husband, Ronald, of Rochester, and Robin Dufresne Miller and her life partner, Daniel Cota, of Washington, and two sons; Henry G. Dufresne Jr. and his wife, Gay, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and John E. Dufresne and his wife, Rose, of Barre City, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Rosemary Dufresne; his sister, Barbara Corbett; his brother, Paul Dufresne, and his parents.

His life will be honored and celebrated with the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 15, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Williamstown.

Interment will follow in Williamstown's West Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
