ObituaryOct 17, 2007  OBITUARY: WOODSVILLE -- George Walter Brill, 77, of Harmony Drive died Oct. 15, 2007, in Cottage Hospital.
He was born Sept. 17, 1930, in Bath to Frank and Martha (Powers) Brill.
He worked as a dairy farmer in Bath and Barton, Vt., for several years and at Ethan Allen in Orleans, Vt., before moving to Springfield, Vt., where he worked as a machinist for Bryant Grinder until retiring.
After retirement, he lived in Orleans for several years before moving to Londonderry, where he met his future wife and married on Jan. 11, 1997. They resided in Waterboro, Maine, until spring of this year, when they moved to Woodsville.
He was a host at Dolly Copp Campground in Pinkham Notch for the past three years.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Marilyn (Labor) Brill, as well as by an infant son and daughter.
Family includes his wife, Phila E. (Nelson) Howard Brill of Woodsville; daughters Rhonda Therrien and Melodie Brill, both of Manchester; two grandchildren; sisters Goldie Greenwood and Etta Hooker, both of Lincoln; nieces and nephews; stepchildren Danny Howard of Pembroke, Barbara Costantino of Florida and Newfoundland, Penny Howard of Manchester and Nancy Tarr of Allenstown; four step-grandchildren and two step-great-granddaughters

SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch St., Woodsville.
A service is Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Charles Storey of Free Baptist Church in East Waterboro, Maine, officiating.
A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Orleans, Vt.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Manchester office, 249 Canal St., Manchester 03101.
