Born in Reading, Pa. on August 18, 1925 she was the daughter of Stanley and Helen (Petko) Witkowski.

She attended schools in Reading, Pa. She was employed at the Luden's Factory in Pa.

On November 11, 1945 she married Theodore B. Pecor in Pittsford, Vt. Mr. Pecor passed away on January 14, 1995. They had made their home in Rutland for a short time before moving to West Rutland. In 1965 the family moved to Graniteville.

She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed T.V. game shows, crossword puzzles, traveling, cooking and enjoyed her bus trips to Casinos with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed being with her loving family.

She attended the Websterville Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Wescomb and her husband Roy of East Barre; Sandra Tremblay and her husband Bert of Barre; Anna Martin and her husband Darrell of Graniteville; two sons, Theodore Pecor, Jr. of Barre and David Pecor and his wife Debra of Poquoson, Va; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Florence is also survived by one brother Edward Witkowski and his wife Sally of Wyomissing, Pa; a nephew, Joseph Stajkowski and his wife Patty of Reading, Pa. and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, one daughter, Constance Carroll; two grandchildren, Corey Pecor and Amanda Taylor; thirteen brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St., Barre. The Pastor Albert Collins of the Websterville Baptist Church will officiate.

Family and friends may call at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Entombment will be in Wilson Cemetery Vault in Lower Websterville with a later burial in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, Vt.
