ObituaryJan 13, 2003  OBITUARY: Annie Bell Alexander Wood, 93, of 1700 West Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Winslow Memorial Home. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC, the daughter of the late John Bush and Martha Leola Weston Alexander and was the widow of Benjamin F. Wood. She was retired from Davis's Nursing Home in Chesapeake, VA after 16 years of service and was a member of Grace Baptist Temple in Chesapeake, VA. Mrs. Wood is survived by one daughter, Deborah Dodson of Lanham, MD; one son, Donald R. Wood of Chesapeake, VA; one niece, Mazie Parker of Elizabeth City, NC and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Old Hollywood Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of Edgar and Mazie Parker, 1044 U.
