ObituarySep 9, 1966  OBITUARY: BOONESVILLE - Mrs. Lucy Ann Via, 88, of Boonesville, widow of William Moses Via, died today at her home. She was born Jan 15, 1878, in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late Charles P. and Sarah Ann Walton Shiflett. Surviving are three sons, James H. Via of Baltimore, Md., Joseph A. Via of Crozet and Carl M. Via of Boonesville; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Wood and Mrs. Florence Gibson of Boonesville, Mrs. Mabel Shiflett, of Crozet and Mrs. Mary Walton of Baltimore, Md; and 24 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Prize Hill Church with burial in the church cemetery. Preddy-Teague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
