ObituaryApr 15, 1964  OBITUARY: Alice M. Tolles Kimball, a life-long resident of this city, died at a local nursing home on Tuesday, 14 April 1964. She was born here daughter of General Jason E. and Sadie S. (Chase) Tolles. Mrs. Kimball was a member of one of Nashua’s oldest families, her father being a former Mayor of Nashua and president of the Nashua school board for 25 years. The family had been active in military and political circles in the State of New Hampshire.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church and a former member of Matthew Thornton Chapter, D.A.R., Good Cheer Society, Nashua Country Club, Nashua Teachers Union and the Molly Reid Chapter, D.A.R. of Derry. For 37 years, Mrs. Kimball taught in the Nashua public schools as an elementary teacher.

Members of her family include, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Lucille) Spaney Jr. of 40 Raymond Street; one son, Jason S. Kimball, Marietta, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lucinda Tolles Spaney, a student at Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio; and Jason S. Kimball Jr. of Philadelphia, PA., and one nephew, Frederic E. Shaw of Nashua, also several cousins.
