ObituaryJun 17, 2001  OBITUARY: DORA A. CANTELL, 74, of Winooski, VT, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. She was born in Winooski on April 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Maria (Cote) Frenette. She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary Catholic School. Dora retired from General Electric after 24 years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski and a member of the Chittenden Senior Center in Burlington. Dora is survived by her son, Burt, and his wife, Karen Cantell, of Bellevue, Neb; two grandchildren, Brook and Brandy Cantell; three sisters, Theresa and her husband, Robert St. Peter, of Colchester, Jane Menard of Burlington, and Rita and her husband, Norman Lovejoy, of Winooski; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski with interment following in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Vermont Division Inc., 13 Loomis St., Montpelier, VT 05602, or St. Francis Renovation Fund, St. Peter Street, Winooski, VT 05404. Arrangements are made by the LaVigne Funeral Home Inc., 132 Main St., Winooski.
