ObituaryMay 5, 2005  OBITUARY: HIGHGATE CENTER -- Paul Glenn Vieta, 40, a lifelong Highgate resident, died unexpectedly, Monday, May 2, 2005, in his Lamkin Street residence.

Born in St. Albans, Feb. 9, 1965, he was the son of Aubrey and Janet (Cantell) Vieta. His mother Janet predeceased him on May 17, 2004.

For the past several years Paul has been associated with Rock-Tenn Missisquoi Mill in Sheldon Springs. In earlier years he had worked for Cambridge Mechanical. He was a professional musician and played lead guitar with the Lone Wolf Band and will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and four wheeling.

Paul leaves his father, Aubrey Vieta of East Highgate; a daughter, Rheanna Bushey of Highgate; his sister, Gail Bronchuk and her husband Dan of Milton, and three brothers, Gary Vieta and his wife Pat of Highgate, Carl Vieta of Franklin and his twin brother, Peter Vieta and his companion Lori Benoit of St. Albans; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 10 a.m. from the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father Maurice U. Boucher, SSE will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lamkin Street, Highgate Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the hour of the funeral. Gifts in Paul's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11 Loomis Street, Montpelier, Vt. 05602-3021.
