ObituaryOct 27, 1984  OBITUARY: Kenneth Bruce Cantell, St. Albans Bay, age 70, of the Hathaway Point Road, died Friday morning in the Burlington Medical Center. He was born in Sheldon, Feb. 11, 1914, son of the late Harland and Elizabeth Hickok Cantell.

He was a plumber and for the past 30 years, operated a farm on Hathaway Point Road until his retirement in 1979. He was a member and past master of the Lakeside Grange, a seventh degree member of Pomona Grange and State and National Grange.

He was a former member of the Sterling Weed Imperial Orchestra and the St. Albans Boy’s Band. He is survived by his wife, Bernice, (Bisaillon) Cantell; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Arnold Hope; four grandchildren, Miss Robin Hope, Mrs. Wendy Hope, Mrs. Karen Hope, and Kenneth Hope, all of St. Albans Bah; a sister, Mrs. (Frances) Townsend, of Collingwood, Ont; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Earnest Cantell, predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Brady and Lavesque Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home at 86 S. Main St., from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Albans Bay Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Brady and Lavesque Funeral Home.
