ObituaryNov 22, 2000  OBITUARY: SO. BURLINGTON – Rudolph R. Quebec died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, surrounded by his loving family at home.

He was born on Nov. 30, 1921 in Swanton, VT, the son of Charles A. and Victoria (Martha) Berger Quebec. He married Shirley V. Graves on Nov. 8, 1941 in Swanton, VT. She predeceased h im on July 16, 2000.

Rudy served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a Superintendent at S. T. Griswald Concrete for many years. Rudy was past Commander in Chief of The American Legion, he was a member of O.E.S., V.F.W., Shriner’s and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. Rudy was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Colchester.

He is survived by his loving children, daughter Sandra and husband David Hurlbut of St. Albans, daughter Faith and husband William Racine of Underhill, son Pete and fiancée Cindy Harlow of St. Albans, daughter Martha Nolin and husband Greg of Colchester; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brother Mandis Quebec of Swanton.

He was predeceased by his parents and his four brothers, Charles, Frank, Clarence and Milo Quebec, his three sisters, Corrine Quebec, Sadie Quebec and Elaine Quebec.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at 10 a.m. in the St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Prim Road, Colchester, VT. Burial will follow in the family lot in Jericho Corners Cemetery, Jericho, VT. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Nov. 36, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Essex Jct.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Champlain Valley, 1110 Prim Road, Site 1, Colchester, VT 05446.
