| Obituary | Jan 24, 2012 | OBITUARY: SALEM, NH -- With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Gerard "Jerry or Jack" A. Gagnon. Gerard Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his immediate family offering him love and support as he passed on to God's calling. Gerard A. Gagnon Jr. the son of the late Gerard A. Gagnon Sr. and the late Rita (Bibault) Gagnon was born on October 13, 1954 in Lowell, MA. He resided in Dracut, MA for many years before settling in Salem, NH. Gerard attended Jeanne D'Arc and McAvenue Grammar Schools and graduated from Lowell High School. He worked at Raytheon Company in Andover, MA for 38 years. He is survived by his best friend and devoted, loving wife Elizabeth S. (Waterhouse-Mondalto) Gagnon; his son Nickolas G. Gagnon of Salem, NH, his daughter Nicolle Y. and her husband Ryan Sherman of North Haverhill, his step-son John N. Mondalto Jr. of Salem, NH, his step daughter Melissa A. Mondalto of Salem, NH; his grandchildren Brandon, Cote, and Tyler Sherman of North Haverhill, NH; his granddaughter Jayla Bartlett Mondalto of Derry, NH; his grandson Cameron Mondalto of Derry, NH; his brother Paul and wife Amy Gagnon of Dracut, MA; a brother David and his wife Patty of Nashua, NH, his sister Annette and her husband Don of New Castle, ME, his sister Lucille and husband John Burke of Hudson, NH, his sister Denise Kintigoes of Lowell, MA, his sister Claire Maille of Londonderry, NH; his Aunt Lucille and her husband Edward of Lowell, MA; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his sister Arlene McWhinny. GAGNON -- Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on Wednesday, January 25th from 3 until 8 PM. His Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26th at 8 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 9 AM in St. Rita Church, Lowell.
