ObituaryNov 20, 2016  OBITUARY: DELAND, FL – Monica Jean (Wallace) Brileya, age 64, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Deland, FL following a long struggle with breast cancer.

She was born on July 4, 1952 in St. Albans, VT to Shirley (Combs) Wallace and the late Normand Wallace.

Monica graduated from Enosburg Falls High School and was employed at IBM for 29 years. She enjoyed traveling and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Her favorite hobbies included reading, knitting, crocheting and crafting. Monica also loved to visit and laugh with family and friends.

Ms. Brileya worked in electronics manufacturing.

In addition to her mother, Monica is survived by 3 children, Amy Harrness and her husband Dennis of Enosburg, Ridgely Adams and his wife Christy of Deland, FL and Maxwell Erno of Enosburg; her daughter-in-law, Christina Erno of Enosbug; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Hillary Lefebvre, Dakota Adams, Casandra and Caidence Erno and Ashley and Nicholas Lawson; 2 great grandchildren, Mason Lefebvre and Madalyn Farnham; 2 brothers, Wayne Wallace and his wife Edna of Enosburgh and Jay Wallace of Fort Myers, FL and several nieces & nephews. Monica was predeceased by her father and her grandparents.

In keeping with Monica’s wishes, there will be no public services. Alavon Direct Cremation Service in Florida was in charge.

While Monica was fighting her own battle with cancer, she found strength in helping others with the disease; she would make shawls, hats and bags for them. For those who wish to make a contribution in Monica’s honor, please offer love and support to someone that is fighting cancer.
