Mr. Fuhr was born Nov. 21, 1939, in New York City, son of the late William and Thelma (Oberempt) Fuhr. He was the owner and operator of Century 21 Fuhr Agency in Wallingford, until 1987, and was a Marine Corps veteran.

He leaves a son, Christopher T. Fuhr of Wallingford; two daughters, Karen Powers of Middlefield and Cheryl Venditti of Waterbury; a brother, William Fuhr of Meriden; four sisters, Linda Mastriano of West Haven, Judy Adams and Carol Sheridan, both of Wallingford, and Barbara Sherman of Branford; four grandchildren, and his former wife, Rosemary (Twohill) Fuhr.

Arrangements: Funeral 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass at 10. Burial: All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Calling hours 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
