| Obituary | Mar 24, 2017 | OBITUARY: BURLINGTON, VT. - Jean Ellen Lorrain, age 70, of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly on March 23rd 2017. She was born on December 28th 1946 in Colchester, Vt., the daughter of Clement "Don" Donald and Eileen "Peggy" Ruby (Goodall) Lorrain. Jean was a very avid Yankee Baseball fan. She loved going to her nieces and nephews baseball games. Very rarely missing a game. She loved baseball. Jean also liked to play bingo. Jean volunteered many years keeping score for her brother's and nephews teams in the New North End Little and the Babe Ruth Baseball where she was also on the board of directors. She was also the Bookkeeper and Equipment Purchasing Agent. Jean lived her dream last year wintering in Florida. She had worked at area banks, the Howard and Chittenden, retiring from the Peoples United Bank. Jean was predeceased by her parents; her father Clement Lorrain on June 1st 1989 and her mother Eileen Lorrain on September 15th 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 27th 2017 at 10:00 am at the St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in Burlington.
