ObituaryAug 24, 2010  OBITUARY: Arnold Max Touchette, age 84, a resident of Saint Albans Bay for the past 21 years died early Saturday morning, August 21, 2010, in his Allard Rd. home with his wife Beatrice at his side.

Born in Montgomery, VT on, December 17, 1925, he was the son of the late Francis and Ethel (Brooks), Touchette.

He attended schools in Stowe and was later married to the former Beatrice Bradley who survives him. He was a retired mechanic having worked several years for the H.A. Smalley Company.

Mr. Touchette faithfully served his country during World War II in the United States Navy and continued his service with the Vermont Army National Guard receiving his honorable discharge as a First Sergeant on, December 17, 1985. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lamoille County Post 9653 of Morrisville and the American Legion, Post 46 of Johnson.

In addition to his wife Beatrice, Mr. Touchette leaves two daughters, Alberta Williams and husband Michael and Shirley McCallister; one brother, Henry Touchette and his wife Cheryl and a sister Charlene Bartlett and her husband Gordon as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.

At the time of his death Mr. Touchette was lovingly cared for by his step-daughter, Elaine Jones.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Susie and nine brothers and sisters.

At Mr. Touchette's request there will be no calling hours.

Funeral Services with Full Military Honors will be held privately at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Ctr.
