ObituaryJan 29, 1981  OBITUARY: SHELDON SPRINGS – Alice B. Larose, 85, died Thursday evening in the Northwestern Medical Center.

She was born in St. Albans on April 2, 1915, daughter of the late John and Lottie Pierce Clapper.

She was a member of the Franklin County Senior Citizens Center. She was the widow of Reginald Larose.

Her survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Barney, of Millibury, Mass; a son, Frederick Bocash, of St. Albans Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hicks, of Massachusetts, and Mrs. Helen Olson of Portland, Maine; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Driscoll & Moran Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Canon Stanley H. Irving, rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home, 156 North Main Street, St. Albans, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

T.J. Moran is the funeral director.
