ObituaryApr 2, 2012  OBITUARY: MILTON/WILLISTON - Marion Elizabeth Bugbee, 84, of Milton, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, March 31, 2012, in the Starr Farm Nursing Home, in Burlington. Marion was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Milton, the daughter of the late Henry and Abbie Robar Peltier. On Aug. 12, 1950, she married Harvey Bugbee Jr. in St. Ann Church in Milton. Harvey passed away March 4, 1993. Marion graduated from Milton High School where she had played Varsity basketball. She loved all sports, following her Yankees, Bruins, Celtics, NASCAR and UVM Hockey with a dedicated passion. She loved angels, flowers, camping, going to Maine and just being outdoors in her beautiful gardens. Special times were spent with her family during the holidays. Marion worked at the FW Woolworth's lunch counter in Burlington and later for Rene's Discount Beverage in Milton before retiring on Dec. 1, 1999. A lifelong resident of Milton, Marion spent the last four years of her life living with her daughter, Deb, and husband, Chris, in Williston. Marion is survived by her children, Deborah Clark and her husband, Christopher, of Williston, Sue Badger and her husband, Terry, of Milton, and Karin Trono and her husband, Gary, of Essex; her grandchildren, Jamie and Katharina Badger, Jerry and Jennifer Wolfenbarger and Matthew Trono; her great-grandchildren, Brooke and Tyler Wolfenbarger and Ceejay Badger; her in-laws, Gladys Cawley, Ila and Lawrence Juaire, Roland and Betty Benoit, Dick and Judy Bugbee, Barb Bugbee, Art and Laurie Bugbee, Bob Quesenberry, Moses Trayah, Polly Peltier, Shirley Peltier, Anne Bugbee; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Harvey, she was predeceased by her son, Michael, on Jan. 1, 2010; her brothers, Orin Peltier and Irvin "Pete" Peltier; her sisters, Gladys Trayah, Doris and Chad Alderman, Lucille Quesenberry, Norm and Barb Potvin and Marion Peltier; her in-laws, Bob Bugbee Sr., Sam Bugbee, Harold and Janice Proper, Maurice and Lorraine Gagne and Pat Renaudette. The last two months of her life were spent at Starr Farm Nursing Home. Marion's family would like to acknowledge how hard they worked to make her stronger and improve her quality of life. But it was not to be - she was tired and ready to join the party in Heaven. Thank you for taking care of her and us. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton. Her burial and that of her son, Michael, who died Jan. 1, 2010, will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
