ObituaryMar 22, 2019  OBITUARY: Burlington - PAULINE J. NICHOLS (PELLERIN) passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the McClure-Miller Respite House in Colchester. Her family wishes to express the utmost gratitude to all who provided her with care and comfort there in her final months.

A life-long resident of Burlington's new North end, Pauline was married to John R. Nichols (Pharmacist and co-proprietor of Young's Pharmacy in downtown Burlington) in St. Mark Church in 1959. Her husband predeceased her in 2004.

Pauline was the daughter of Henry J. Pellerin and Rose M. (Leclerc). She was a graduate of Nazareth Parochial School and Cathedral High School, class of 1956.

During a life-long pursuit of the fine arts, Pauline provided studio lessons in her home for over a hundred students of all ages during the 1960's and 70's. She always enjoyed passing on her passion for the arts to her students and friends while pursuing her studies even until last year. After years as a homemaker and an active member of the PTA at Mater Christi School, Pauline worked as an Administrative Assistant at Trinity College and various area businesses.

Pauline leaves three sons: Stephen, Michael and his wife Lorie (Dusablon), James and his wife Tammi (Bosley); five grandchildren: Christopher, Katelyn (Aziri), Ashley (Devarajan), Skyler, and Hunter; many nieces and nephews and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves her brothers Laurent Pellerin and Roger Pellerin and was predeceased by her sister Theresa and brother Donald.

Visitors are welcome at the Boucher-Pritchard Funeral Home on North Winooski Ave in Burlington on Monday 25th from 5 to 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Mark Church on North Ave in Burlington on Tuesday 26th at 1:00 p.m. followed by the burial in the new Mt Calvary Cemetery on Plattsburgh Ave. A light luncheon will follow at the St Mark Family Center.
