She was born on Dec. 12, 1934, the daughter of Benjamin Rye Sr. and Winifred (Crandall) Rye.
She graduated in 1952 from Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland.
She married Leonard R. Maynard on Nov. 22, 1958.
She was a stay-at-home parent until she went to work at Mack Molding, retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles and puzzles.
She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and helped in fundraisers and events.
Beverly is survived by her children Tracey Leary and husband, Robert, of Ludlow, James Maynard and wife, Deb, of Columbia, CT, Michelle Boucher, of Littleton, NH, and Roberta Maynard, of Ludlow; two brothers Benjamin Rye Jr., of Springfield, and George Rye, of Ludlow; a sister, Judith Pelkey, of Live Oak, FL; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents, a brother, Robert, and a sister, Mary.
A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family in May 2017.
