ObituaryMay 30, 2002  OBITUARY: ST. ALBANS -- Mrs. Harriet L. Rocheleau, age 78, died peacefully at her home, Monday afternoon, May 27, 2002, following a brief illness, with her loving family at her bedside.
She was born in Swanton June 26, 1923, daughter of the late Era and Ella (Lashway) Mulheron. Harriet was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Unit 758 and the Women of the Moose, Chapter 321. Feb. 16, 1941, she married George Rocheleau.
Besides her husband of over 61 years, she is survived by her four children and their spouses John and Anna Rocheleau of Swanton, Linda and Hank Gadouas of St. Albans, Steven and Janice Rocheleau of Fairfax and Thomas and Linda Rocheleau of St. Albans; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Allen of Alburg and Rae Barney and her husband Gerald of Swanton; two brothers, Ezra (Zing) Mulheron, Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Swanton and Ralph Mulheron of Swanton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Mulheron; and a sister Mildred (Mag) Brennan.
Beloved by everyone, especially all her grandchildren, she will be missed by all for her wonderful food and hospitality, great sense of humor and all the good times that she always made possible for anyone and everyone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. Interment will be in the Rocheleau family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
