ObituaryJan 24, 2008  OBITUARY: BERKSHIRE – Gary James Domina, age 61, passed away Wednesday evening January 23, 2008 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 24, 1946 in Montgomery the son of the late Archie & Adeline (Lumbra) Domina Gary was a dairy farmer most of his life being self employed as well as working for many area dairy farms. He also drove truck, delivering feed to farms around Franklin County. He enjoyed to hunt but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was married to Pauline Garrow on June 26, 1971. Besides his wife, he is survived by their children, Alex Domina and his wife Melinda of Berkshire, Jennifer Diette and her husband Kevin of Berkshire, and Ryan Domina of Berkshire; his grandchildren, Alyssa Domina, Kevin Diette Jr., twins – Kaitlyn & Erin Diette, and Lauren Diette; 2 brothers and their wives, Archie & Rose Anne Domina of Sheldon, and Donald & Penny Domina of Johnson; a sister, Linda Clark of Berkshire; his uncle, Arnold Lumbra of Berkshire; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Gary was predeceased by a son, Kristopher Domina on August 21, 1992. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will be next spring in the Montgomery Center Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 4-6 PM at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg Falls. For those who wish, contributions in Gary’s memory may be made to FAHC, Development Office, 111 Colchester Ave. Burlington, VT 05401 to Community Health Improvement for Vermont tobacco cessation program. Gary’s family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to Abby Austin, Dr. Andrew Stanley and his staff, and the nursing staff at the Intensive Care Surgical Unit at Fletcher Allen for the love and support given to their father, grandfather, and brother.
