Moorby, 59, of Glenwood Ct. in Ballston Lake, died suddenly Thursday, January 22, 1998 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after being stricken at his residence. He was born in Port Henry, NY, the son of Kenneth Moorby of Schenectady and the late Mae Moorby. Mr. Moorby was a graduate of Port Henry High School and the Champlain Business College in Burlington, VT. He was National Account Manager for the America's Electronic Commerce Service Center for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, having worked for GE since 1965. He was the beloved husband of Carol Cantell Moorby; devoted father of Michael Moorby of Somerset, NJ, John Moorby of Schenectady, Alyson Przybylek of Clifton Park, Carol Ann Moorby of Ballston Lake and the late Robert J. Moorby II; father-in-law of Samantha Moorby of Schenectady and Donald Przybylek of Clifton Park; grandfather of Robert Paul Moorby of Ballston Lake; brother of Glenn Moorby of Port Henry, NY, Nancy Moorby and Betty Perry, both of Schenectady and Linda Lefevre of MA; step-brother of George Moorby of So. Burlington, VT, Ronnie Moorby of VT, Ralph Moorby of MA and Marion MacGowan of Bristol, VT. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, VT. Memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross, c/o 74 Warren St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gordon C.
