ObituaryMay 1, 1967  OBITUARY: DRACUT – Romeo J. Gagnon, 51, husband of Mrs. Irene L. (Destremp) Gagnon of 204 Pleasant St., died last evening, April 30, 1967, at the Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lowell, he was a son of the late Alfred and the late Ernestine (Champagne) Gagnon, and had been a resident of Dracut for the past seven years.

He was a communicant of Ste. Therese Church. At the time of his death, Mr. Gagnon was employed in the receiving department of the Raytheon Company of Andover. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Surviving him, besides his wife, are a son, T-Sgt. Robert Gagnon, USAF, stationed at Stewart Air Force Base in Tennessee; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Pauline) Wood and Mrs. Andre (Lorraine) Dubuque, both of Lowell; six brothers, Armand Gagnon of Lowell, Edgar Gagnon of Pelham, Omer Gagnon, Lucien Gagnon and Gerard Gagnon of Lowell, and Henry Gagnon of North Chelmsford; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Gagnon and Miss Irene Gagnon of Lowell, Mrs. Rita Hammond of South Dakota, and Mrs. Therese Duquette of Dracut; also 11 grandchildren.
