Lorie was born on August 23, 1918, a daughter to Dana and Marion (Stephens) Hubbard at the Home Place in Lyman, NH.
Lorie was employed by the Littleton Stamp Company for many years. She was a member of the Whitefield Advent Christian Church.
Surviving family members include a brother, Durward Hubbard and his wife, Nita of Lyman, NH; one daughter, Nancy Lee Arfman of Nebraska; one grandson, Scott Arfman; one granddaughter, Lorie Arfman; two great-grandsons, Christopher and Steven Arfman; one step-brother, Richard Hersom of Keene, NH; one step-daughter, Marion Schettino of Claremont, NH; two step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Her first husband, John D. (Jack) Lafferty in 1947, and her second husband, Earle Hersom in 1977 predeceased her.
SERVICES: At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton, NH. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Morrison Nursing Home, 4 Terrace Avenue, Whitefield, NH 03598.
