ObituaryOct 22, 2007  OBITUARY: MANCHESTER -- Wyllian "Libby" Sanborn, 76, died Oct. 18, 2007, in Manchester.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1931, in Littleton, the daughter of David and Jesse (Ennor) Libby. She had been a Manchester resident most of her life.

Mrs. Sanborn was a graduate of Lisbon High School, and Elliot Hospital School of Nursing.

Prior to retirement she was a registered nurse at Elliot Hospital for many years.

Mrs. Sanborn was a longtime member of Elliot Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.

The family includes her husband of 55 years, Robert D. Sanborn of Manchester; three sons, Mark D. Sanborn, Robert M. Sanborn and Matthew H. Sanborn, all of Manchester; a daughter, Deborah E. Connolly of Washington, D.C; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Robinson of Barton, Vt., and Thelma Wells of Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Sanborn was predeceased by a daughter, Rebekah C. Sanborn, formerly of Manchester.

SERVICES: A calling hour is Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine St., corner of Harrison Street, Manchester.

The funeral service is Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Burns Hospital For Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
