ObituaryDec 29, 2010  OBITUARY: Kenneth J. Thibault, well known as "Scout", age 87, died Monday, December 27, 2010, in the Northwestern Medical Center, with his loving family at his bedside.

Scout was born in St. Albans May 28, 1923 son of the late Frank and Rose (Noel) Thibault.

After graduation from high school he served in the U. S. Navy during WW 11.

He was a captain of the St. Albans City Police Department for 12 years, the next 18 years he was employed in receiving and delivery for Dowlings Distributors and the Burlington Drug Co.

Scout was a member of the American Legion, Post # 1, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post # 758, the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge # 1090. For the Moose, he was Head Steward for 18 years, a Pilgrim of the Moose, Trustee, Honorary Past Governor and Governor of the Northeast Moose Association.

Scout leaves his daughter Barbara Tompkins of Anchorage, Alaska, grandson Michael Tompkins, sister Beverly Beyor of St. Albans, sister-in-law Helen Thibault of Milford, N.H., several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Theresa Martell Thibault, parents, sisters Alice Helen Albertelli, Catherine Thibault, Ethel "Tissie" Thibault, brothers Arthur and Armand Thibault, brothers-in-law Carlton Beyor and "Jack" Quinto Albertelli, sister-in-law Pearl Thibault and a special friend Adeline Stahl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Angels Church at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2010.

Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday.

The Pilgrim Moose Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening.

Interment will be next spring in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Sheldon.
