ObituaryFeb 2, 2008  OBITUARY: SUDBURY-Flora M. (Nelson) Haskett, 95, of Sudbury, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Concord Health Care Center in Concord. She was the wife of the late Arvo Santti and Leslie Haskett.

Born in East Bridgewater on September 28, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Eugene L. and Jennie Ruth(Hurd) Haskett.

Mrs. Haskett married and settled in Waltham, Where she was employed for many years at the Waltham Watch Factory. She later went on to receive her nursing degree and worked at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham until her retirement.

During her spare time she enjoyed travel, bowling, bingo, crafts and reading. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching Sunday football. She also enjoyed the outdoors, taking long walks around Walden Pond and her greatest love was her flower gardens.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Caroline Greene and her husband, Valmont, of Sudbury; two granddaughters, Susan Babb of Marshfield and Linda Ryan and her husband, Jim, of Marlborough; and three great-grandchildren, David Babb and Benjamin and Nicholas Ryan.

A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 3, 2008, at 1:30 p.m., at The Sudbury United Methodist Church, 215 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury. Visitation, prior to the service, is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., in the Sanctuary. Interment will follow in the family plot in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury.
