ObituaryJun 10, 2007  OBITUARY: Karen J. (Lockerby) Cantell, 56, died Monday, April 23, 2007,at home after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born in St. Albans, VT, on March 4, 1951, the daughter of the late Donald and Diane (Jean) Lockerby. She will be fondly remembered for loving her family and having a zest for life.

She leaves her husband, Burton Cantell of Bellevue; son Brook Cantell of Bellevue; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Ryan Cantell Wilson, of Omaha; four grandchildren, Cody, Sabrina, Baylei and Jackson; one brother and sister-in-law, Thoms and Julie Lockerby of Colchester, VT; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Andre Germaine of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Becky and Harold Torre of Milton, VT; Carlene and Joseph Barber of Edgewater, FL; Rosemry and Donovan Mayo of Lincoln, VT; Jane and James Duggan of Colchester. She had seven nieces, eight nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She graduated from Winooski High School in 1969. She married soon after graduation and left Vermont with her husband to pursue his career with the Air Force.

A memorial service will be held in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Colchester on June 15 at 11 a.m.
