ObituaryJan 10, 1999  OBITUARY: CORINTH -- Ada E. (Aldous) Kelley, 82, a longtime resident of Corinth, died Saturday, January 9, 1999 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs following a long illness. Born on June 25, 1916 at North River, she was the daughter of the late George 'Burt' and Emma (Austin) Aldous. She married Paul H. Kelley on December 29, 1931 in Orange, MA. He died May 17, 1994 following 62 years of marriage. Mrs. Kelley was employed as the director of the Audio-Visual Services at Corinth Central High School for over 10 years. She was a former member of the Saratoga County Traffic Safety Committee. Mrs. Kelley was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Corinth. She enjoyed sewing, tating, gardening, crocheting, photography, camping, cooking and baking and spending time with her family. Besides her husband, two sisters, Dora Chandler and Ruth Chandler; two brothers, Arthur Aldous and Earl Aldous, all died before her. Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Kelley of Corinth and his wife, Eleanor and Jon A. Kelley of Greenfield Center and his wife, Susan; two brothers, Burton Aldous and Bernard Aldous, both of Corinth; two grandsons, Andrew P. Kelley of Corinth and Daniel R. Kelley of Lake Luzerne; three granddaughters, Aurie L. Kelley of Corinth, Connie L. Daniels of Lake Luzerne and Jennifer Maryada Kelley of Greenfield Center; four great- grandsons and two great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth, with the Rev. Danny Sears, Pastor of the Victory Bible Baptist Church of South Corinth, officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Corinth Rural Cemetery. Following the services, the family requests that friends and family gather at Jack's Place, Main St., Corinth for fellowship. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of donations to the Ada E. and Paul H. Kelley Scholarship Fund for excellence in Audiovisual Technology, in care of Corinth Central School, 105 Oak St., Corinth, NY 12822.
