ObituaryFeb 16, 2004  OBITUARY: NEILL, MR. ELVIN EDWARD Peacefully, early Sunday morning, February 15th, 2004 at the Timmins & District Hospital, aged 71 years, of Timmins, formerly of Connaught. Beloved husband of Evelyn at home. Loving father of Dwight wife Anne Neill of Timmins and Valerie Mrs. Barry Payne of Strathroy. Cherished grandfather to Brandon & Adam Neill and Cassandra Payne. Dear brother of Bertha Mrs. Lewis Ripley of Oshawa, Evelyn Roussey of Cochrane, Lawrence Debbie Neill of Garson and William Marian Neill of Gore's Landing. He also leaves 7 other siblings Vinna Irvin, Judy Judd, Kathy Judd and Bill Judd all of B.C., Irene Judd of Toronto and Levi Judd of Quebec. Elvin was predeceased by siblings Joyce, Carman, Eddie and Alfred. Elvin was born in Timmins and had been a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp having been employed by Ontario Northland Railway for over 40 years. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be graciously received through the funeral home. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held in the Stinson Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00AM with Rev. Bill Jones officiating, accompanied by organist Marlene Fera. Interment to follow in the springtime at McIntosh Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4PM and from 7 to 9PM at the Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Ave., South Porcupine. 235-29000
