ObituaryNov 30, 1999  OBITUARY: DRACUT - Pauline I. (Gagnon) Wood, 59, of Dracut, a onetime restaurant waitress, died Sunday night, Nov. 28, in Saints Memorial Medical Center, Lowell, after a short illness.
Her husband, Vincent R. Wood, died in 1996. She leaves two sons; two daughters, including Debra Russell of Worcester; a sister; seven grandchildren; an uncle; an aunt; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces; and three great-grandnieces. She was born in Lowell and lived many years in Dracut.
Mrs. Wood was once a waitress for several years at J.J. Boomer's, a local restaurant.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 2, from M.R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Lakeview Avenue. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, East Chelmsford. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01841; or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
