ObituaryJun 22, 2016  OBITUARY: BROCKTON — Priscilla A. “Pat” (Bertrand) Forrester, 75, formerly of Fairhaven, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Braemoor Nursing Center in Brockton after a period of declining health. She was the wife of 48 years, of the late Arthur E. “Artie” Forrester.

Born and raised in Newport, NH, daughter of the late Ernest and Natalie A. (Brissette) Bertrand, she settled in Fairhaven over 45 years ago. Pat was a Health Unit Coordinator at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford for many years until her retirement.

She loved collecting recipes and cooking. She also collected lighthouses and enjoyed spending time outside in the sun. She especially enjoyed time spent with her loving family.

She is survived by two daughters, Laurie A. Arabian of Acushnet, and Stacey Forrester Rebelo of Fall River; four sons, Scott A. Forrester of Holbrook, Stephen E. Forrester of Fort Meyers, FL, Larry A. Forrester of Wrentham, and Thornton H. “T.H.” Forrester of Mattapoisett; two sisters, Deanna Waterman of Newport, NH, and Deborah Roberts of Grantham, NH; beloved sisters- in-law, Phyllis Huntley of Wareham and Barbara Davies of Attleboro and brother-in-law, Terry Forrester of GA; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pat was the sister of the late Ernest “Paul” Bertrand and Eddyarnold Bertrand.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and memorial calling hours are Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5-8pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven. Interment will be private.
