| Obituary | Jan 11, 2005 | OBITUARY: VERGENNES - Daisy Moss, 91, died Jan. 8, 2005, at Vergennes Residential Care Home. She was born March 10, 1913, in Brandon, the daughter of Frank and Ida Mae (Gee) Durant. As age 50, she graduated from nursing school and worked for Porter Hospital and Middlebury College, as well as private-duty nursing in the Middlebury area. Survivors include three sons, Joel Emilo of Florida, Angelo Emilo of California and David Moss of Florida and Barre; one daughter, Dorothy Moss of New York; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Flora Rotay. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Sanderson Funeral Home, 117 S. Main St., Middlebury. The Rev. Justin Baker will officiate. Burial will take place in the spring in Forestdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
