ObituaryNov 24, 1971  OBITUARY: Mrs. Cathryn Cole Keith, 71, and area native instrumental in founding the World Museum of Mining, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She made her home in Ramsay.

She was born Aug. 11, 1900, in Philipsburg, and attended schools in Anaconda. She attended the University in Montana in Missoula, studying music.

In 1928, she was appointed secretary-treasurer of the Domestic Manganese and Development Co., and she held that position until the time of her death. Mrs. Keith was a 50-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of Sons and Daughters of Montana Pioneers.

She married Beverly Keith in 1924 in Missoula. He died in 1968.

Survivors include a daughter, Samie Jane Keith of Ramsay; a brother, John H. Cole of Butte, and a sister, Mrs. Fran Sullivan of Butte.

Services are pending at Sayatovic-White's Funeral Home.
