ObituarySep 18, 2002  OBITUARY: RICHFORD -- Hildreth I. Baker, age 85, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 17, 2002, at the Holiday House Nursing Home in St. Albans, with her son by her side. She was born July 13, 1917, in Richford, the daughter of the late Hoyt E. and Eunice (Gross) Miner.

She married Raymond Baker on March 26, 1940. Hildreth was a loving person and was devoted to her husband, children and her grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Her hobbies included sewing and knitting for her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Richford United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Baker of Richford; a son and his wife, Charles "Chuck" and Hallie Baker of Nashua, N.H; a daughter and her husband, Connie and Alan Mullen of Georgia; her grandchildren, Charles "Chuckie" McAllister of Richford, Kimberly Ann Gonyeau and her husband, Earl of Clinton, Mass., Eric Baker of Fort Meyers, Fla., Steven Mullen of Colchester and Linda LaPierre and her husband Tom of Chazy, N.Y; eight great-granddaughters; a very special friend, Evelyn Rowse of Morrisonville, N.Y; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald Miner and Kenneth "Cub" Miner.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at Montgomery Village Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
