ObituaryMay 17, 2019  OBITUARY: FRANKLIN/ENOSBURG – Lorraine (Farnham) Longey, 85, of Boston Post Road died on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Franklin County Health and Rehab Center in St. Albans.

Lorraine was born April 30, 1934 in Montpelier, VT, the daughter of the late Dean and Suzzanne (Dupré) Farnham.

On December 22, 1954 she was married to Ralph A. Flood in Barre, VT. On October 12, 1966 she was married to Kenneth W. Longey of Enosburg Falls, VT. She worked for Franklin County Home Health Agency, Champlain Valley Agency of Aging for 8 years, and her favorite job, as a foster grandparent at Franklin Elementary School. Lorraine loved to knit, crochet, and work in her garden. She also enjoyed going for rides, going to lawn sales, and listening to music, especially Roy Orbison and Danny O’Donnell.

She is survived by her sons, Wesley D. Flood and his significant other Michelle Behm of St. Albans, and Gary A. Flood and his significant other Dianah Guyett of Enosburg; grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, Amber, Heather, and Mark; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Longey; grandson, Scott Allen Flood in 1973; and sister, Lucille Duffy.
