ObituaryJun 14, 2014  OBITUARY: A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 22 at 1 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock for Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan, 89, who died June 13th at the Stoughton House in Windsor. There will be no calling hours.

Betty was born on Aug. 1, 1924 in Woodstock, daughter of Wilfred and Florence (Maxham) Barrett. Betty graduated from Woodstock High School in 1942.

She married Arthur John Morgan on Aug. 4, 1944.

She worked for the Red and White Super Market and A and B Motors in Woodstock and for the South Woodstock Post Office.

Betty spent most of her life living in South Woodstock and raising her family.

Betty is survived by three sons; John C. Morgan of South Woodstock, Lyle A. Morgan of Topsham, and Richard A. Morgan of South Woodstock; one daughter Judith L. Hurd of North Springfield; four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; and three brothers; Gerald, Harold, and Warren Barrett.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the South Woodstock Fire Department or to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock.
